How Do You Make Ladder Golf Balls?
Ladder golf balls are inexpensive to make, and can be personalized with paint, emblems, or stickers. Ladder ball is also commonly referred to as “Hillbilly Golf,” “Monkey Ball,” Bolo,” “Polish Horseshoes” and “Halo.” Ladder golf balls are attached by a thick piece of nylon rope and hurled at a PVC ladder ball game rack. Step 1 Purchase or gather 12 golf balls. Step 2 Paint golf balls and allow balls to dry overnight. Decorate balls with stickers or paint a design on the balls with acrylic paint. Painting and decorating are optional steps. Step 3 Spray a clear coat of polyurethane on golf balls and dry for at least three hours. Step 4 Drill holes in the golf balls. Use a power drill to create a hole just large enough for the rope to slip through. A drill bit the size of a dime works best. Step 5 Cut nylon rope into six 10-inch strips. Step 6 Measure the rope and mark with permanent marker. Make the mark three inches from each end of rope pieces. Step 7 Tie a knot at each three-inch mark
