How Do You Make Kool-Aid Playdough?
Do your kids love Kool-Aid and playing with playdough? Here is a recipe that allows you and your children to combine the best of both worlds! My kids love the way their hands smell after! Set up 2 large childproof mixing bowls, each with a large mixing spoon. This way each child can take part in the playdough making process. In one bowl let your child mix together the salt and flour until smooth. In the second bowl let another child (or yourself) to mix together the oil and boiling water. Make sure they mix slowly otherwise you will have a table covered with oil and water! Now it is your turn! Slap on a pair of gloves and pour the liquid mixture slowly into the dry mixture and combine until completely combined. Knead mixture on cutting board (to prevent staining table or counter) for 5 minutes. Its a little work-out, perfect to work off snack time cookies I deny having 🙂 You are now ready to play! Refrigerate playdough after use for tomorrow!
