How Do You Make Jewish Coffee Cake?
I don’t know why this is called Jewish Coffee Cake and no one in my family seems to know either but is has been in my family since at least my Great Grandmother, Maggie first made it. It’s a wonderful recipe and my family really enjoys it. Enjoy Cream sugar and margarine well. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well and add baking soda and powder to flour. Add vanilla to the mixture. Fold in sour cream. Grease tube pan put in half the batter then the filling then the other half of the batter. Bake at 300 degrees for one hour. Let me know what you think.
