The first step in making Jamaican chicken soup, is to get the ingredients. You will need about 2 lbs of chicken, cut into bite size pieces. Next, you will need some pumpkin peeled, carrot and chocho all cut up. Add about 4-6 cups of water to a pot and bring to boil. After it begins to boil, add the chicken, cho cho, carrot and pumpkin. Let those ingredients cook for 30 minutes; while they are cooking peel the Irish and the yam. After the 30 minutes have passed, you can add the yam and Irish to the pot.
