Using this simple method, you don’t even have to break out your scissors to make a brand-new twin duvet cover. Wash and dry sheets according to their recommended care instructions. Using an iron on the recommended heat setting for your sheets’ fabric, gently press until sheets are wrinkle-free. Use straight pins to pin the two sheets together so that their right sides are facing each other. Pin three sides, leaving one of the short sides open. Using coordinating thread, run a straight stitch along all three pinned sides, leaving about 1/4-inch seam allowance. Remove the pins as you go.
