Gift baskets are great presents, but sometimes these gifts can be too expensive. You can create your own gift baskets with inexpensive items in a colorful container that will be wonderful presents all year long, including for Christmas. Start your shopping trip at the dollar store. Some dollar stores will have everything you need for these baskets, saving you money and time. Decide how many baskets you want to make. Once you have your number, look for colorful, plastic colanders to use as your baskets. Choose packaged pasta. These also come in a variety of colors, so you can certainly be creative with your choices. Get one package for each basket. Add a jar of pasta sauce for each basket.
