How Do You Make Individual Party Favor Pinatas?
Kids love pinatas at birthday parties. The downside to this activity is that you must hand a small, blindfolded child a heavy stick or baseball bat. Furthermore, sometimes the smaller children miss out on pinata loot. Try these fun, favor-filled miniature pinatas instead. Everybody makes out well and has fun and no baseball bat is necessary! Inflate balloons and tie the ends. Tear the paper into thin strips. Make a paper mache paste by combining one part flour with one part water. Apply four layers of paper to the balloons by dipping strips of paper into the paste, wiping off the excess, and placing onto the balloon. Allow to dry completely. This will take three or four days. Cut a small hole in each pinata, large enough for the favors to fit inside. Remove the popped or deflated balloons. Fill each pinata with toys and candy. Cover each with tissue or crepe paper, using glue on just the underside of the paper. Make a patch large enough to cover the hole for each pinata by using tissue
