How Do You Make Humming Bird Food?
Hummingbirds have long been very popular with people, and many consider it a treat to have one visit their yard. This has caused quite a few of these people to hang hummingbird feeders in hopes of attracting them. The food that goes in the feeder can be bought at most bird shops, but it is just as easy to make it yourself. Step 1 Set aside 1 part of sugar to every 4 parts of water. Step 2 Bring the water to boil in a pan. Step 3 Add the sugar to the water slowly, about 1/4 of a cup at a time, stirring to dissolve it as you go. Step 4 Remove from the heat and allow it to cool completely. Step 5 Fill your feeder and store the excess in the refrigerator.
