How Do You Make Honey Mustard Coleslaw?
This is such a tasty and easy recipe for honey mustard coleslaw salad. I make this several times a week during the summer and my husband loves it. It also tastes good inside a hamburger or grilled chicken wrap. You can use a plain non fat Greek yogurt instead of mayo if you want a healthier dressing but I usually use low fat mayo. Rinse the coleslaw mix in cold water and dry it in a salad spinner. Make sure that it is really dry or you will have a runny coleslaw salad. Mix the sweet hot mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar and low fat mayo(or Greek yogurt) together using a whisk, to make a creamy dressing. The dressing is sweet, tangy and creamy! Combine the creamy honey mustard dressing, dried cranberries, roasted walnuts and dry coleslaw mix. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let the mix sit for ten minutes in the refrigerator. Honey mustard coleslaw salad will last about 24 hours the refrigerated.
