How Do You Make Homemade Swiffer Cleaning Pads & Solution?

0

Swiffer wet pads with solution are incredibly convenient to use for quick clean-ups on hard floors, but constantly throwing these out and replacing them is both expensive and creates extra landfill trash. You can make your own homemade Swiffer pads and solution, and save lots of money while you’re at it. Using the Swiffer mop head as a guide, cut the old towels or microfiber clothes to the correct size. Tuck the cloth into the mop cloth holder to make sure it fits. Mix the Murphy’s oil soap and water in a bucket. Murphy’s oil soap is safe to use on laminate, wood, tile, and linoleum. Dip the mop head lightly into the solution to dampen, and mop your floors as usual. Remove the dirty cloth. Launder separately with your other cleaning rags.
