How Do You Make Homemade Stuffing (Old Family Recipe)?
Sometimes the Turkey on Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter is the center of attention, but what’s the turkey without the stuffing? Today I’m going to tell you an old family recipe that we still use today, passed down from mother to daughter for generations. First take your loaf of wheat bread and break it into small peices, 1/2 inch peices are fine, while you preheat your oven to 400 Degrees. You may coat the pan with a little oil but it is not nessicary. Put the bread pieces you’ve just torn onto a cookie sheet and toast them in the oven until they are golden and somewhat hard to the touch. Remove the cookie sheet and allow it to cool to room temperature. Peel the apples and cut them into very tiny pieces, the smaller the peices the better. Now cut your celery into small peices as well. Set aside. Add all ingredients together in a large bowl excluding the chicken or turkey broth. Mix the dry ingredients, apples and celery well with your hands to make sure everything is thoroughly mixed
