How Do You Make Homemade Frosty Paws (Dog Ice Cream)?
If your dog likes Frosty Paws as much as mine, it can get expensive. Here is a great alternative that my dog loves. I like to think they are much healthier than the original too. Now these are good enough for people to eat too but keep your paws off. These are for your favorite furry friends – and NO I am not talking about your Aunt Mildred. I usually get about 10 treats out of each batch. Step 1 While still in the peel mash the banana with your hands. It will start to explode out of the peel but that’s ok. Just put it all in a large bowl. Continue to mash with a spoon so it has a creamy consistency. Next, add the yogurt, peanut butter and honey. Stir until very smooth and creamy. Next stir until really smooth and creamy. No chunks! Step 2 Spoon the mixture into the little cups. Be sure to fill them to the top. You don’t want Fido to feel slighted! Step 3 Place the cups on a baking sheet and set in the freezer. They usually take about 5-7 hours to freeze completely. Once they are ready
