How Do You Make Homemade French Fries?

0

There’s nothing as appetizing as a batch of crispy, salty French fries fresh from the oven. For a healthier, cheaper and easier snack, baking your own fries is the only way. Read on to learn how. Step 1 Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F. Step 2 Wash your potatoes thoroughly. Step 3 Chop in to small strips or chunks. The smaller the chunks, the easier and faster the fries will cook. Step 4 You can peel the potatoes if you prefer; but it is not necessary. Step 5 Lay the strips in one layer in shallow baking pan. Step 6 Drizzle fries with olive oil, and sprinkle on salt and pepper. Step 7 Toss or manually turn fries in pan in order to ensure they are evenly coated. Step 8 Bake for 25-30 minutes or until they can be easily cut with a fork and have achieved desired crispiness.
