Creating homemade exercise equipment just takes a little imagination. Making a weight to do the isolated biceps curl is the quickest way to creating your home gym. The tools you’ll need will be found in your garage, kitchen or tool shed. The milk jug weight you’ll be using should take less than five minutes to make. Many other items in your home make exercise equipment tools as well, such as an old bike tire tube can be used as a resistance band. Fill a gallon milk jug with tap water. Secure the milk jug cap with one strip of duct tape. This will ensure a tight seal when you do exercises. Wrap the milk jug handle with duct tape to form a more comfortable grip if desired. Stand upright with knees slightly bent and palms facing out. Starting from a 90-degree angle with your right arm, bring the milk jug straight up toward your right shoulder. Repeat this movement 15 times to complete one set. Do three sets of 15 on each arm.
