This topping is easy to prepare and your dog will absolutely love it! Add 3 or 4 heaping tablespoons to your pet’s dry or canned food at each meal. Or, make your dog’s meal using regular food and half topping for weight loss. • Trim any excess fat and gristle from the chicken and discard. • Place chicken in an 8-quart stockpot, add 1 cup of fresh cool water, cover and simmer on low heat until cooked through (approx. 45 minutes). • Remove chicken from the pot (reserving liquid) and dice into bite-sized pieces. • Set aside. • Layer half the green beans, half the chicken and half the corn into the liquid in the stockpot, then repeat. • Stir gently until well mixed. • Return pot to low heat for approx. 20 minutes, or until mixture is thoroughly heated. • Allow to cool. • Place mixture in lidded plastic storage containers and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. To really pamper your dog, try warming the topping in the microwave before serving.
