You will need to measure 2 cups of sugar 1/4 cup of corn syrup and 3/4 cup of water in a 2 quart sauce pan. Insert a candy thermometer and cook till temperature reaches 300 degrees. Imediatly take off stove and and waite for boiling to stop and add 1 drop of oil flavoring and 2 drops of color. Stir very slowly. I usually use a wire whip to stir with. Make sure you have a buckett of hot water to put the utensils in. Pour slowly into hard candy molds and inset lollipop sticks. Be sure that the molds are well greased. Let cool until set. Get all ingredients together-Sugar corn syrup bucket of hot water (very important), Lollipop sticks, Oil flavor, candy thermometer, pam cooking spray and molds. Measure corn syrup first, sugar second and then water. This batch can also be doubled. Put on stove. Stir to mix. Put in thermometer when candy starts to boil.
