Buying birthday cards for all of your family members can get expensive. With the correct materials and a little creativity, you can make your own cards. This can also be an activity you do with your children, and people love the idea that you took the time to personally make them a card. These birthday cards can be made totally by hand, or you can use your computer. Place newspaper on your table to protect it from glue and glitter. Collect all your supplies needed in a place that is accessible. Choose a piece of card stock that you want to work with. Card stock comes in all colors, so pick an appropriate color. Fold and or cut the card stock to the size of card you desire. Take a letter stencil and lay it on the front of the card and trace the letters you want. Color in your letters with crayons or markers, or get creative and use glitter.
