How Do You Make Hair Bows Using Alligator Clips?
For little girls, hair bows add that extra special touch and help complete any look. If you have ever thought about making your own hair bows, consider using alligator clips instead of snap clips. Alligator clips allow a faster insert and take out than traditional clips. Korker bows are great for use with alligator clips as they allow more coverage of the clip. Gather a large amount of korker ribbon in your hand. The size of the alligator clip will determine exactly how much korker ribbon you need. You will want enough to cover the raised handle of the alligator clip. Wrap a piece of piece of korker ribbon around the middle of the others and tie it off in the back. Make a knot, then cut off excess ribbon hanging off in the back. Arrange the korker ribbon to resemble a ball. It shouldn’t be hard if you tied the ribbon in the middle tightly. Place a dot of hot glue on the top of the alligator clip. Gently lay the middle of the korker bow on top of the glue. Hold in place for 20 seconds.
