How Do You Make Green Slime (A Childrens Craft Project)?
When you’re a kid, there is nothing better than getting your hands in a big pile of play of mud or to play with a lump of clay or to take a handful of green slime and gross-out your little sister. During the long days of summer break this recipe for green slime is simple enough for older children to make by themselves, while providing a few hours of entertainment. Once the project has been completed, the slime can be kept in a air tight plastic container or plastic bag for several weeks of gooey fun and pranks. In a medium mixing bowl combine one cup of cold water with 8 ounces of Elmer’s Glue. In a second bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of Borax powder with one-half cup of very hot, but not boiling water. Keep stirring until the Borax has dissolved. To the Borax mixture, add about 10 drops of green food coloring and 10 drops of yellow.
