How Do You Make Goat Cheese Dumplings?
Goat cheese dumplings are a great way to dress up your everyday dumplings. They are delicate, tasty, easy to make and can be served in a variety of ways. Try adding them to soups or broths, or slather them with butter and serve them as a main dish. This recipe yields approximately four servings of goat cheese dumplings. Fill a large stock pot about halfway with water. Add 1 tbsp. of salt and stir. Bring the water to a rolling boil. Add 2 cups cubed goat cheese, two large eggs and 1 tbsp. each dried parsley, tarragon and thyme to a large mixing bowl. Add a dash of salt and pepper and stir well to combine. Add 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour to the goat cheese mixture, and stir again to combine. Add an additional 1/4 to 1/2 cup of flour, stirring in a few tablespoons at a time, until a thick dough is formed. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about two minutes.
