How Do You Make Gluten-Free Monkey Munch Recipe?

0

If you are a John & Kate Plus 8 fan, you know what monkey munch is! This is a snack her kids ate on the show. In the original monkey munch recipe, one of the main ingredients is Rice Chex cereal. However, if you want to make gluten-free monkey munch, here’s how. You will be substituting gluten-free cereal for the Rice Chex cereal. Measure out 9 cups of gluten-free Gorilla Munch cereal (corn based). You will be substituting this cereal for the original Rice Chex which is not gluten-free. EnviroKids also makes Panda Puffs cereal which is corn-based with peanut butter flavor. Place the following ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl: 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup butter. Cook for 30 seconds, then stir; repeat until melted and well-mixed. Stir in vanilla. Stir melted mixture into dry cereal until thoroughly mixed. Sprinkle on powdered sugar until well-coated. Let cool. Store in refrigerator.
