Make glow-in-the-dark slime using a few ingredients and you have created an engaging craft that children will want to do over and over. This easy project makes an enjoyable classroom activity for science teachers that will keep kids busy on an otherwise boring day. This is a safe activity to do with kids, however, make sure children don’t ingest any of the slime. Assemble all of the supplies before beginning your project. You might also want to cover any exposed surfaces with newspaper to protect them. In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of water with 1/3 cup of glue. Whisk together well. Whisk about half of the glow-in-the-dark paint into the water and glue mixture. You will have about 2 oz. of paint. Pour 1/2 cup hot water into a second bowl. Stir 2 tsp. of borax into the hot water until it is dissolved. There may be some sediment left on the bottom of the bowl; that is OK.
