iTunes Genius function has revolutionized the way you create musical playlists. iTunes can recognize every song for its musical components and group similar songs together automatically into a playlist. If you like songs with strong lead guitar, or driving bass lines, you can easily make a playlist of all your songs that feature those aspects. With iTunes Genius you can make sure that every song on your playlist goes together. Open iTunes. Click “Turn on Genius” from the Genius side-bar on the right side of the screen if the function is not already turned on. You will have to enter your Apple user name and password. Select the song you want the Genius playlist to be based on. Click the Genius icon button in the lower-right corner of the window. The icon looks like a single atom. Choose how many songs you would like your playlist to consist of in the upper-right corner of the screen.
