How Do You Make Gel Air Freshener?
I absolutely LOVE the smell of Lilacs! I love to spray the fragrance around my house: on the bed linens, the bathroom towels, just about anywhere, but, the spray doesn’t last that long and I can’t find a Lilac Gel Air Freshener so I found a recipe that will allow me to make my own. Once you discover how easy they are to make you will find yourself coming up with all kinds of scent combinations. Citrus oils like bergamot, lime, orange or grapefruit are great for the bathroom while rose or musk scents are wonderful for the bedroom. Experiment! Have fun… Bring 1 cup of the distilled water to almost a boil. Add the Knox unflavored gelatin and stir until dissolved. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the other cup of distilled water. Then, add 10-20 drops of your favorite essential oil, salt, and optional food coloring.
