How Do You Make Gauzy Halloween Ghosts?
Spook your guests with easy to make gauze ghosts. Create a small ghost for a cute table centerpiece or a larger one to greet trick-or-treaters. Make a round ball with aluminum foil. Poke a pencil or small stick into the foil ball. Put the end of the stick into the milk bottle or another jug. Make one head for each ghost. Shape more tinfoil into a large snake to drape across the jug. Form two for your ghost’s arms. Cut cheese cloth or white gauze into squares that are big enough to cover each of your ghosts. Dip each square into a bowl full of liquid laundry starch. One at a time, take the gauze or cheese cloth pieces out. Squeeze the cloth to remove any excess starch. Drape the starched cloth over each jug with a foil head and arms. Make sure your ghost forms are in an area where they can sit without being disturbed overnight.
