If you’re hands are chapped, dry or rough from being exposd to heat, cold, dirt, or harsh chemicals and detergents, you need something to soften them naturally. Beeswax and natural oils are terrific for dry hands, elbows and feet. The following will show you how to make your own natural gardener’s hand cream. Measure out 3 tablespoons of beeswax into a medium-sized microwave safe bowl. If you are working with a block of beeswax, melt it using a double boiler or in the microwave so you can measure this amount out. Melt a little at a time until you get 3 tablespoons. Add one tablespoon of coconut oil and half-a-cup of sesame oil to the beeswax. Stir these ingredients well. Measure out 2 tablespoons of calendula tea leaves and one teaspoon of honey. Add these ingredients to the mixture. Mix well. Add three drops of lavender essential oil and half-a-teaspoon of baking soda. Mix everything well.
