How Do You Make Fruit Flower Bouquets?

One of the most popular centerpieces for showers and other parties is the fresh fruit bouquet. Fresh fruit flowers are a healthy alternative to cookie bouquets, and a welcome gift for housewarming parties. Made from a small variety of fruits, these bouquets are deceptively simple and quick to make. Place florist’s foam in the bottom of the planter or vase to hold the bouquet in place. If you don’t have florist’s foam, Play-doh works just as well. Slice the pineapple into 1/2-inch slices. Use a daisy flower cookie cutter to cut out flower shapes, or cut flower outlines with a knife. Use the melon baller to make small cantaloupe balls. Stick skewers through the center of the flower, then cap the skewer with a melon ball for the center of the daisy. Slice cantaloupe and honeydew melon into thin wedges. Stick skewers into the bottom of each wedge. Place skewers into the stem ends of large, perfect strawberries. Thread four or five grapes, all the same color, onto a skewer. Slide each grape
