Using masking tape, go around the vase, starting at the bottom, and cover the entire vase. Tape on with painter’s tape the stencil or pattern you’ve chose. If it’s a small pattern, you only need to put a little tape on the corners just to hold it in place. This can be just in the front or all the way around. Use your marker and draw out the pattern through the pattern or stencil. If you are using a pattern that is not cut out, you can push it down, leaving an indent on the masking tape with a pencil.
