Fried pickles are delicacy in South American. It is a dish that can be easily prepared and fast. Pickles of varied taste and flavor can be made by combining different ingredients. Fried Vlasic dill pickles make good snacks or appetizers for the holiday guest. I just made these and they are wonderful and very easy. You will WOW folks with them if you serve them during the Super Bowl. The Vlasic is a crunchy pickle and is better for this recipe. Enjoy. Heat a deep fryer to 180 degrees or keep the frying pot on a high flame for about 15 minutes. Mix the cornmeal, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and the flour in a medium size bowl. In another bowl mix the milk, hot sauce and the beaten eggs together. Dip the Vlasic dill pickles one by one in the milk and egg mixture then finally in the cornmeal mixture. After dipping in both mixtures, deep fry the pickles for about 3 minutes or until they turn golden brown Dab the fried Vlasic dill pickles onto a paper towels to drain the excess oil.
