Perhaps you have jars filled with a bountiful harvest of fruits and vegetables from a summer garden or jars filled with other assorted household or personal miscellaneous items. If you have basic knowledge of a graphics program, making whimsical or pretty labels for jars is a simple little project that you will be proud of every time you see your attractive jars. Open your graphics program, and open a foundational raster layer that is 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Fill in a background color, or leave it white. Select the “Preset Shape” tool and select a rounded rectangle to create the outlines of your labels. Position your cursor on the raster layer, and draw one rounded rectangle onto the upper left corner of the raster layer.
