How Do You Make Free Graph Paper?
Graph paper is considered specialized, and stores often charge quite a bit more for it than for normal, lined paper. Thanks to some useful graph paper tools on the Internet, however, you can easily print out your own. Best of all, you can print it in nearly any size, color and shape that you want. Log onto a free graph paper site, such as Incompetech (see Resources). Click on the picture of the type of graph paper you want. You can generate standard graph paper, grids of dots, graph paper made out of equilateral triangles and many other types. Set the document size, grid size and border. If you’re using standard paper, set the document to 8.5 by 11. Unless you know how much of a border your printer requires, leave the border setting on default. Click the download PDF button and save the file in your download folder. Open the PDF and print it out on a sheet of paper. To get a double-sided piece of graph paper, take out the paper, flip it over and print again.
