Polymer flower petal beads are often sold at high prices in bead stores, but they are actually quite simple to make. As long as you have polymer clay in a variety of colors, know how to roll the clay into cylinders and flatten clay with a rolling pin, you will have no problems at all. You can try different color combinations for your flower petal beads or make custom-colored beads for family members or friends. Roll your first color of polymer clay into a cylinder that is approximately 2 inches long and 3/4 inches in diameter. Roll your second color of polymer clay into a cylinder and then flatten it with a rolling pin until it is 1/8-inch thick. Wrap your second color of polymer clay around your first color of polymer clay and then roll them together by hand until they are just over 1/2 inch in diameter.
