Need some big fun wall decor for a tropical room. Try a big fish! Make a fun wooden fish wall hanging. Draw your fish shape on the plywood. Feel free to copy my design or a photo of a real fish. Think of the size of your wall space when planning the size of your wall hanging. Cut out the shape with a jigsaw. Round the edges of the fish decoration with a router for a finished look. Drill two 1/8″ holes for the hanging twine. To insure the fish is level. Measure the length of the fish. Divide this by 4. Drill the holes about this distance in from the outside edge on each side and 1.5 inches down from the top. Sand the wood all over with sandpaper or a sander. Sanding the back will prevent it from scratching your wall. Paint the fish to match your decor, your photo or a beautiful fish from your imagination. Run twine through the holes you drilled. Knot the ends and hang the fish decor on your wall. Adjust the length of the twine to adjust the hanging height of the fish. Enjoy your new wal
