Measure the inside of your window, height and width, at the top, middle and bottom to get accurate measurements. Step 2 Cut your fabric or wallpaper. Adding 2 inches to the width and 6 inches to the length, cut your fabric or wallpaper according to the measurements you have taken. Cut two pieces of ribbon, both twice as long as the length of your faux roman shade.
