Making fake stained glass is much quicker and cheaper than making real stained glass. It involves no glass or cutting of glass, and no hot soldering gun or lead, so it is safe for children to do. By creating a design on a sheet of acrylic, the final piece may be framed and hung in a window or simply left unframed and taped to a window or glass-fronted cabinet door. Cover the work surface with newspapers. Leave the protective covering on the clear acrylic sheet. Use the black permanent marker to outline the design on the protective covering.
