Halloween is fast approaching, and for those of you looking to put some gruesome reality into your costume or decorations, there is not better way to do it than to make your own fake blood! Why make fake blood – because it is both fun and sick! Here is how you do it! Put one tablespoon of corn starch into a glass mixing bowl. Pour about 1/2 cup of the Karo corn syrup into the glass container with the corn starch and stir it up thoroughly. This will make a really thick liquid that is very similar in texture to your own blood! Pour about 1/8 cup of water into the mixture and stir it up. Adding this much water will make the blood flow for added realism. If you do not want the blood to run as much, then use a little less water. Try it out with 1/8 of a cup first and see how it works for you. Put about 15-20 drops of red food coloring into the mixture and stir this up really well.
