How Do You Make Face Masks For Children?
My kids love making masks. We’ve made them for costumes and just for fun out of a variety of materials. Face masks for children are not only a great craft project, the kids enjoyment goes on after the project is done as they often love to play dress up and pretend with their face mask. First, gather your materials. You can buy some face masks at a craft store and dress them up with beads, paint, feathers and fabric. Recycled materials make great mask decorating items. Glue on string, cardboard tubes (for horns, maybe) packing peanuts, bubble wrap. Use your imagination, or let the kids use theirs. My kids favorite: a paper plate, tied in the back. Help them cut out the eye holes if they are young. They can cut the paper plate into a half mask or special shape if they want. One way to do a face mask for children completely from scratch is to do paper mache on an inflated balloon. Only cover one half of a balloon blown up to a little bigger than the child’s head. Make sure you leave eye h
