Make fabric poinsettia Christmas decorations that work for a table, a mantel, or in a basket if you choose. These fabric Christmas poinsettias are so easy to make, your children can participate, and they will be proud they helped decorate for the holidays. These are our own creation, and you may get even better ideas once you make them. We also make washcloth roses like these. Assemble the materials. Each poinsettia requires two red washcloths, one green washcloth, a rubber band and artificial holly berries or center. You might be able to use mistletoe berries, too. Make the red flower first. Take the two washcloths and place one on the other in a Star of David design. Some washcloths have round edges and some right-angle edges. It will not matter much to the flower, although poinsettias have pointed petals. Make the green leaves for the poinsettia.
