How Do You Make Essential Oil Face Moisturizer?

0

Essential oils have many internal and topical uses, including as ingredients for light facial moisturizers. Lemon essential oil is particularly effective as a moisturizer ingredient because of its antiseptic, astringent, anti-bacterial, detoxifying, and rejuvenating properties. Lavender essential oil is also effective as it contains antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and calming properties, and can promote healing of acne and other skin disorders including burns and eczema. Keep your essential oil moisturizer in a spritzer bottle for use during the day as a skin refresher or during or after workouts. This moisturizer will keep skin fresh and hydrated without harsh or harmful additives. Measure a 1/2 cup of water and pour it into a spray bottle. Add 3 tsp. of glycerin to the bottle. Add 5 or more drops of lemon or lavender essential oil to the bottle and shake well. Always shake the bottle before spraying the moisturizer on your skin.
