How Do You Make Egg Carton Chicks For Easter?
Egg carton chicks are a whimsical way to store small Easter treats and prizes. Save cardboard egg cartons to make this easy craft. You can help your smaller children to these chicks, or turn your older kids loose with a few instructions. In under an hour, you will have cute chicks for stashing Easter goodies. Form the body by cutting a single cup from the egg carton with scissors. Leave the edges of the cup as high as possible. Sketch a head and neck on the underside of the egg separator at the top of the egg carton. Cut out the head. Glue the base of the neck into the chick’s body. Cut a second cup from the carton, leaving the height of the cup only 1/2-inch high. Cut the cup in half. Turn the half cups so that the bottoms are facing up. Fit the cups onto each side of the chicks body to form the wings. Glue the wings in place with craft glue. Use a paint brush and yellow craft paint to paint the outside of the chick yellow. Set the chick aside and let the paint dry. Use an orange mark
