How Do You Make Easy Pretzel Turtles Holiday Candy?
Pretzel Turtles are fun, fast and easy to make. These make a great treat to take to any holiday party or function. Some people call these candy, cookies, or a mini dessert. You’ll have everyone asking for the recipe! Start off by pre heating your oven to 300 degrees. Next you will need to place a layer of foil or parchment paper onto your cookie sheet. This will make it easier for the pretzel turtles to come off of your pan. Place 25 pretzels in a single layer onto your cookie sheet. Unwrap your chocolate covered caramels and place one caramel on top of each pretzel. Carefully place your cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 2 minutes watching carefully. If the caramels look as if they are melting remove your pan from the oven. You just need the caramels very warm and soft. Remove the pan from the oven and while the caramels are still warm press a pecan half onto the tops of each chocolate caramel topped pretzel.
