How Do You Make Easy Portobello Mushroom Beef Stew In Crock Pot?

0

Are you looking for something easy to cook, that is yummy and delicious? This recipe is designed for the Crock Pot, so it is a “fix & forget” dinner option. Adding the Portobello mushrooms is a great way to change the taste of typical beef stew. You can also use shiitake mushrooms or regular white mushrooms as well. Put the beef in the Crock-Pot slow cooker. Mix together the flour, salt and pepper and pour it over the meat, tossing the meat to coat all the pieces. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the beef and mix one or two times. Add the minced garlic, cut up the mushrooms and add them to the slow cooker, along with the sliced carrots, diced potatoes and chopped onion. Cover. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 6 hours. Stir thoroughly when completed cooking. If it seems thin, you can add a little bit of flour (1/8 cup) to the stew and mix it in well. If you do, let it then cook an additional 15 minutes. This makes 5 servings. You can double up the ingredients
