How Do You Make Easy Peanut Butter Cookies (Crinkles)?
These are delicious cookies to make for Thanksgiving or Christmas time. Actually, they’re delicious cookies for any time of the year! My whole family raves over these soft peanut buttery cookies, and they are very easy to make too. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Gather together your mixer, a medium sized mixing bowl, measuring spoons, measuring cups and a greased cookie sheet. Cream together the shortening (or butter, if you prefer), peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg. In this recipe, I prefer to use shortening. I also prefer to use crunchy peanut butter as it gives the cookie an extra peanut buttery taste. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place the balls about two inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
