How Do You Make Easy Parmesan Cheese Sauce?
This parmesan cheese sauce is quick, easy, and delicious. It can be used to stir into pasta for parmesan noodles, as a sauce to pour over vegetables like broccoli or cauliflower, or as a cheesy sauce for baked chicken breasts. Put four tablespoons of margarine or butter into a large sauce pan, and heat over medium-high heat until the butter is completely melted. Turn down the heat to medium once the butter is melted. Next, stir in a quarter cup of flour into the melted butter, a little bit a t a time, stirring the mixture until it is blended well, and has a smooth texture with no lumps. Cook the flour and butter mixture for about a minute. Slowly stir in three cups of milk, plus two chicken flavored bullion cubes. Simmer the sauce, stirring constantly to avoid scorching, until it begins to thicken. When the sauce thickens, sprinkle in a half cup of grated parmesan cheese, and stir until the cheese melts into the sauce.
