How Do You Make Easy Orange Buttercream Frosting?
All good baked treats start with basic buttercream frosting. This recipe is simple and easy to make. Why not have the children help you when you make it? They always love to lick the spoon and the bowl clean. You can experiment by adding different flavors too. My friends and family love the taste of Orange Buttercream frosting. Sometimes I put slices of orange on top as an accent. On Halloween I put candy corn on top and on Easter I put jelly beans. You can make this with lemons too. Just substitute lemon zest and juice for the oranges. Put the butter, cream cheese,Orange zest, and vanilla extract into a large bowl and beat them with an electric mixer machine. Make sure it is well blended and smooth. Slowly add in your powdered sugar, orange juice, and milk while mixing it at a very low speed. Make sure it is well blended together. You do not want it too loose – it should have a spreadable texture. Decorate your cupcakes, cookies, or cakes. Enjoy!
