How Do You Make Easy Liquid Laundry Soap?
This recipe will give you all the instructions needed to make liquid laundry soap. This will save you a lot of money. 5 gallon bucket with lid 12 cups waters 2/3 bar Fels Naptha laundry soap 1 cup Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda (NOT Baking soda) 1 cup 20 Mule Team Borax 8 cups hot (not boiling) water hot tap water grater and container to catch gratings large cooking spoon Grate 2/3 Fels Naptha Bar. Be careful not to cut yourself with the grater. Mix all of the grated Fels Naptha with 12 cups water in a large pot: heat on the stove over low heat stirring occasionally until dissolved. DO NOT allow to boil. Stir in 20 Mule Team Borax and Arm & Hammer Super Washing soda until thickened. Add 8 cups hot water (tap water will do if hot enough) to the 5 gallon bucket. To that, add the soap mixture and stir well. Add hot tap water to your mixture until the bucket is about 2/3 full. Let the mixture sit with the lid on for 24 hours until thickened.
