How to make simple Italian sugar cookies in no time. These cookies are easy to make with simple ingredients and in just a few minutes. You can choose to either shape them into balls, just like meatballs or cut them with a cookies cutter. I usually cut mine with a heart shaped or star shaped cookie cutter. Mix the ingredients (the flour, the egg yolks, the sugar, the melted butter (you can melt the butter by placing the butter (in a pan) on a stove burner for just a few minutes, the whipped egg whites and the yeast). Form medium sized balls or cut the cookies with a cookie cutter. Roll the balls on the sugar or brush some of the egg whites on the cut cookies and sprinkle some sugar on top of them. You can also sprinkle some vanilla flavored powder sugar after the cookies are baked. Bake the cookies at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 celsius) for about 30 minutes (or until they turn golden brown).
