How Do You Make Easy Italian Meatballs?
Meatballs – whether Italian or Swedish, they add interest to a spaghetti sauce or to a basic cream sauce. Easy,too! Saves money and time when you make a bigger batch and freeze half for later use. They are much easier to make than you might think! In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except olive oil. Take about two tablespoons of the meat mixture out and put it in the palm of your hand. Use the other hand and roll just until it forms a firm meatball about 1 1/2 inched in diameter. You can make them bigger but the flavor of the sauce won’t get into them as well. Place them on a platter until you have quite a few formed. Heat up a fry pan with some canola oil to medium-high heat. Put a couple meatballs in at a time, turning them with a spatula. Add a couple at a time until the pan is about a third full. Keep moving them around so they keep their shape and cook evenly. Fry until nicely browned and they feel firm.
