How Do You Make Easy Homemade Paneer Cheese?
Learn an easy method to make homemade cheese! Pour the milk and buttermilk into a pot and heat with a medium temperature. Once the mixture begins to get hot you will see it start to separate the whey from the curds. Once it has separated, remove it from the heat. Cut the leg off of a clean stocking or pair of tights. Using this material instead of cheesecloth makes it much easier to manipulate and handle. Fit the leg into the jar using the mouth of the jar to hold it in place as shown in the picture. Pour the curds and whey through the stocking, emptying the jar each time it becomes full. Allow the curds to hang in the stocking until they become cool, about 30 minutes. Squeeze out the excess water and remove the lumped curds from the stocking by placing them on a clean kitchen towel. Mold it into the desired shape and wrap it in the towel.
