How Do You Make Easy Homemade Chalk?
Easy chalk to make at home! For hopscotch, tic-tac-toe or just plain doodling, this chalk is just the thing! Keep a stash of this chalk made from plaster of paris and tempera paints to inspire your budding artists! Pour the plaster of paris into the container and stir in most of the water using the crafts stick. Now add 3 Tablespoons of paint. Mix well to remove lumps and add a little water until the mixture feels like the consistency of pancake batter. Then seal one end of the toilet paper tube with the tin foil, securing tightly with the rubber band. Pour the mixture into the tube. If it starts to seep through, wrap tube in tape. Let the mixture dry completely, about 24 hours. Score the tube with a knife to remove the chalk. To make other colors, repeat the process using paint colors of your choice. Enjoy!
